Talked with Kurt on the phone and had dinner with Mark at Uno’s. I had steak and Mark had the sirloin tips and then we had  a dessert called “WOW”! It was sort of an ultimate chocolate fudge dessert with ice cream and whipped cream. On Monday a gift from Kurt and Pamela came. It was a  lovely bar of soap and a hand knit washcloth. Quite an unusual pattern I’ve never seen. Thank you, you two! I love you all.

We let Cricket go today. Mark, Dad and I stayed with her. Even the vet cried. She was a beautiful and loving being. I will miss her every day of my life. She was my angel that got me through so many hard times.  She was 14 this year and had may ailments but was having trouble getting up stairs now. I will always be grateful for the time we had. I love you,Cricket. Look for Snuggles on the other side and play together. Be happy.

Got a beautiful bouquet of tulips and irises from Kurt and Pamela for my birthday. It was a huge surprise and really made my birthday. Thank you both.

Well, time to renew my license and of course high time for a trip to Jiffy Lube. It may not seem like a lot but have to trips like this cause me anxiety. Going to go to Mark’s house after Jiffy Lube to have supper with him. He’s been pretty shut in with the back problem and I certainly know what that is like.

Going to try to plant some seeds. I bought the containers for indoor seed starting but it is just sitting there. Have to just do it. Might even buoy my spirits. The pets are weighing on my mind. both are doing crappy. Cat is having trouble walking and the dog has a constant cough. She seems happy though. Very hard decision to make. I know it will throw me into a funk.

Just had to scream at the stupid dog. She likes to bark at the dog across the street and of course the dog is a rotweiller….

I’m working on yet another afghan. I was thinking of it as a ty for the neighbor but I like it so much and it DOES match my living room…
It’s finally sunny and it’s really appreciated. The dog and cat sun themselves every morning back to back. I’m looking forward to having flowers again, but I’ll have to deal with the dog poop before I can think of that. :0 I bought a seed starter and I hope to plant it one of these days. Procrastination does run in the family….
